19th century, having a horn handle with silver inlaid plaque "To W. J. Robertson, Nov. 1st 1857," mounted onto a tapering oak cane with hexagonal faceted section, each face mounting an inscribed silver plate, together they read, "Com. O.J.L Perry's Victory, Lake Erie, Sept. 10th 1813, / We have met the enemy and they are our's / Two Ships, Two Brigs, a Sloop and a Schooner / Oak taken from the Flag Ship Lawrenc., Mar 5th 1836 / Wm. Robertson to his uncle, Wm. Robertson." followed by a silver plaque showing two hearts pierced by an arrow
