Second half of the 19th century, a very fine, large and rare Haida or Tlingit ceremonial feast spoon or ladle, carved from mountain sheep horn that has been steamed and bent into shape, the handle incised with transformation figures terminating in a raven-head finial, with rich, aged patination throughout

Condition
two old chips (one at edge of bowl, the other midway down the handle). These areas remain sturdy.
