Lisa Rhana was born Rose Silver and was a well known illustrator; under that name her work graced many a New Yorker cover in the late 1920's and early 1930's. Her work is part of the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of the City of New York.
