Including a pair of hand hammered copper Arts & Crafts candlesticks, with impressed makers mark and signed "Eichner 72" on base (h. 3 x dia. 5 in.); and a low-form copper bowl signed on the bottom, "DICK GREGG / APRIL 4, 1950 / GRANBROOK" (G or C?) (dia. 8-3/4 in.)

Laurits Christian Eichner (1894-1967) was a high end craftsman who worked in silver, pewter, brass, and other mediums. He was born in Denmark and lived in New Jersey. There was a retrospective show on his work at the Smithsonian in 1971. They produced a 60 page catalog for the show but it is hard to find. He made models and scientific instruments for the Smithsonian among other things.
